Duelling Dragons

There is a definite duality that exists among architects… I speculate.

There is an inherent desire to create. To give birth. To define.

Paradoxically, the Ego drives the force of power and greed and the wonton need for money.

Hence, the equilibrium should be found architecture- a capitalist adventure that allows art to reign.

What's funny now is the CAD jockeys who might read this and chuckle slightly at the sheer thought that this balance even exists. The money-grubbing developing whores who might silently mock saying that art never prevails…and only costs them more money if anything. And then the whimper and sigh of the actual Mr. or Ms. Arch E. Tect who has since succumbed to the factory-like atmosphere with Hitler-cloned clients crackin' whips that have checks dangling from them.

Just another day in paradise.
